Welcome to the New Academic Year 2026/27

As we begin a new academic year, we would like to extend a very warm welcome back to everyone across the CDLT family.

We hope that our children, families and colleagues have enjoyed a restful summer and are looking forward to the year ahead. A new school year always brings a sense of fresh opportunity, and we are excited about everything that 2026/27 will bring for our schools and wider Trust community.

As CDLT enters its second academic year, we are proud of how our schools have continued to work together, sharing expertise, supporting one another and building strong relationships, while retaining and celebrating the individual character and identity of each school.

Our Trust vision reminds us that “the body is not made up of one part but of many.” This continues to shape the way we work: recognising and nurturing the unique gifts, skills and talents within our whole community and empowering adults and children to grow in character and mind, shaping a better future.

This year will bring new opportunities to strengthen collaboration across our schools, develop our Trust community and, above all, continue our shared focus on providing the very best experiences and opportunities for every child.

We would like to wish all of our pupils, families, staff, governors and trustees a happy and successful start to the new academic year. We look forward to sharing news, achievements and celebrations from across our schools throughout the year.

Welcome back – and here’s to a wonderful 2026/27!
